In this episode, Fady and Kristen interview Andrew Paulsen, PharmD, MPH, BCNP. Dr. Paulsen is a supervisor at Mayo Clinic, in Rochester, MN, and works in Nuclear Medicine to help manage the Radiopharmaceutical Lab. In his role, we works with acquisition and preparation of radiopharmaceuticals to support all aspects of clinical and research operations in meeting patient needs. Andrew is also involved in education programs for Nuclear Medicine Technologists and Radiology Residents. Prior to working at Mayo Clinic, Andrew worked for a nuclear pharmacy providing radiopharmaceuticals and other services to multiple hospitals and clinics in Northern Illinois. He is Board Certified in Nuclear Pharmacy and received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and Masters in Public Health from the University of Iowa. Fady Abdlrasul graduated with a doctorate of pharmacy degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in 2014. He began his career as a pharmacist at Rite Aid pharmacy from 2014 to 2016. He then went on to be a pharmacy manager at an independent pharmacy in the Canton area from 2016-2017. He became an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at NEOMED in 2017 and soon after became the Director of Pipeline Programs in the Office of Student Success.
